Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account: a random account ID. If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple's stable user identifier and, if you choose to share it, your email.
• Study data: your answers, saved questions, quiz history, streaks, exam choices, goals and AI tutor chats, so they sync across your devices.
• Contributions: questions you upload, exams you suggest and problems you report.
• Purchases: subscription status from Apple via our subscription provider, Superwall. We never see your payment details.
• My Library: the questions, flashcards and notes you add to your own library, in the app or from a connected AI app.
• Connected AI apps: if you connect Claude or ChatGPT, which app you connected and when it was last used. We keep only hashed tokens.

Claude and ChatGPT

When you connect DrNote to Claude or ChatGPT, that app can read your progress, scores, mistakes, notes and library, and add, change or delete items in your library, only when you ask it to. What you send in that chat is handled by Anthropic or OpenAI under their own privacy policies. Disconnect any time in DrNote under Profile → Use with Claude or ChatGPT, or in the AI app's settings.

How we use it

Only to provide DrNote: syncing progress, unlocking Pro, improving questions and answering support requests. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.

Third parties

• Cloudflare hosts our servers and database.
• Superwall handles subscriptions and paywalls.
• Apple processes payments and Sign in with Apple. The AI tutor runs on your device with Apple Intelligence.
• Google handles Sign in with Google, if you choose it.
• PostHog (EU servers) receives app usage events, such as screens opened and questions answered, tied to an anonymous ID so we can improve DrNote. We don't use it for advertising or share it for tracking.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account exists. Delete it any time in Profile → Delete account, or email mousab.r@gmail.com. Contributions you submitted stay, detached from your account.

Children

DrNote is for adult learners and isn't directed to children under 13.
